I Can Garden
Gardening is a creative activity. It is also very practical. To encourage everyone to garden, designer Scott Daigre approached The Arboretum with a challenge to do the “I Can Garden” Program. The concept is elegantly simple in a galvanized garbage can, fill them with potting soil and bring in people from all walks of life to create portable gardens. Inspiration for these Garden Cans comes from the heart, the plants, and the professions of these not-so-frequent gardeners. If you have a yard or even only a can, we want to show our guests that EVERYONE CAN GARDEN, AND SO CAN YOU!
